Inkless Scar Revision is an effective procedure for correcting scars and stretch marks, aimed at improving the texture and color of the skin without using pigments. This method stimulates natural regeneration, making scars less noticeable and more even. The process also helps lighten scars, reducing their red or dark tones and bringing them as close as possible to the natural skin color. To achieve optimal results, 2 to 6 sessions are usually required — the exact number depends on the depth, size of the scar, and skin type. The intervals between sessions range from 6 to 12 weeks to allow the skin to fully recover. In cases where a scar requires not only texture improvement but also color correction, ISR can be combined with camouflage tattooing. Camouflage adds pigment that matches the skin tone, making the scar nearly invisible. Typically, this is not done during the first session.
